Today Instagrammers are going to get another cool feature on Instagram. It’s a new way to share feed posts on Instagram Stories. You will be able to share posts from your own account and from people you follow directly to your story as a sticker. How cool!

As always Instagram is making it easier to share and engage with each other. To share a post to your story simply tap the paper airplane button below the post – As if you were going to send a Direct message. Then at the top you’ll see a new option “Create a story with this post”.

Once you select the option to create a story, you’ll see a preview that you can edit. You can rotate, scale, and move the sticker.

It’s not an anonymous function so the user whom the post belongs to will get a nice shout out on your story. Their username will be displayed in the story.

If you want to check out the original post, all you’d have to do is tap the post! It’s currently only available for Android and will be rolled out to iOS in the near future.

Will this drive more users to Instagram or is it just another way to retain the current user base? Or both? Let us know your thoughts on Twitter!
